Back again!

Back again! Lazy mummy, not updating for such a long... time. How is Jaydon going to punish mummy when he start talking???

Jaydon is going to be 11 months! For the past 11 months, having Jaydon is a great blessing from God. He bought so much joy to us. His stages of flipping, crawling, standing and walking gave us the excitement that nothing can replace. Not forgetting the words of "Mama", "Papa" melted our hearts. I guess most parents are like this!

Long long time

Wow, it has been a long time since I last blogging. Saw my last post was on Aug. Couldn't believe that times flies and it's now NOVEMBER. Looking at my little Jaydon who has grown up to err...(last measured at 4mths was 7kg at height 65.5cm) quite a tall fellow:) He has started to know his somersault, imitating, grasping, pulling. Anyway, all sorts of headache stunts are out and more to come....!

Jaydon is growing well (thank God) and learn things pretty fast especially at imitating his daddy. He is teething now hence he gets cranky quite often. Wanting to start him on rice cereal when he is reaching 6 months but Jaydon seems to show his food readiness by indicate interest in our food. Furthermore, he seems to get dissatisfied with milk feeds. I am hesitating whether to start him on rice cereal (rice is least allergenic food) as the safest weaning age is 6 months. Perhaps the best way is to Observe first.

Well, things are going pretty well on our side except that work has got more busy (that's explain why the next blogging took almost 2mths). Economy is slowly recovering and our business has picked up alot. I strongly believe: ask and it shall be given! Such a blessing that things are getting on the right track. Glad that my mum is taking care of Jaydon and this gave us the ease of mind whenever we are working. Our maid has also getting more familiar in handling Jaydon, cooking and household chores. It is very comforting to see how things are form and how they evolve with God taking charge. I am really thankful for Him, having Him around makes my many worries seems small and eventually gone. Amen!

Dear Father, I thank You so much for blessing us this far and allowing all good things to happen to us! I pray that You will continue to guide, bless and take good care of us. we trust You and have all our praises and believe in You. We know You only reserve the best for us, Your children. We shall be obedient. We will continue to worship and honour You! In Jesus name we prayed. Amen!

P/s: Will post up Jaydon's pic next round.

Jaydon's schedule

Well, some have been wondering why am I always missing in action? Everyday is pretty hectic and tiring! However, Jaydon's smile and growing moments, makes me feel that everyday is wonderful! Really glad that I have my mum's help in taking care of Jaydon. Every 2-3 hours feed is no kidding, plus the pumping of milk and the plentiful work from home stuffs! Sounds like complaining hubby? Well, "Behind every successful man is a woman, behind her is his wife." - which wife wouldn't hope your husband be the successful man?

Glad that Jaydon has changed his schedule since he was 2 months old. He's able to sleep through the night with 1st feeding at 6plus in the morning. After that he will again go back to his deep sleep till 9 to 10am.

We enjoy seeing Jaydon's growth day by day:) Seeing Jaydon's smile is heartwarming

Quotes about Parenthood

This is great! Serve as a reminder for us... Being Parents are not easy. We strive to give the best to our child.

Quote: "Having a baby is not just adding another pair of socks to the laundry. It is a responsibility and an adventure, an experience that alters that relationship between you and your mate, you and the larger world and creates an entirely new relationship for you."

Quote: "A newborn does not cry to get your goat or to manipulate you. These tiny creatures are not yet capable of such adult motives. A newborn cries to get her needs met; she has no other means of communication. Responding to cries does not encourage a baby to cry more often. Indeed, studies show that babies who are attended to promptly cry less. Your quick response assures her that she lives in a safe, dependable environment."

Quote: "In the early months, it's better to try to accept a little chaos; having a baby is not a tidy experience. In time, you and your baby will develop a rhythm. Your baby will settle into a schedule, sleep longer, and at the same time you will start to feel more confident and competent."

Quote: " Your baby's personality will play a role in the kind of mother you are. It's important to give yourself the gift of flexibility. No one is perfect, and no one can predict how she will feel as a parent before she becomes one. Allow yourself to be human, and to change your mind!"

Quote: "Birth will not magically transform either your husband or you into perfect, new wave parents. It is essential for the two of you to have time alone together, without the baby. Take it slowly and give each other a lot of leeway in these early months."

Quote:"Many women are disappointed and shocked when they find that it is difficult at first. Engorgement " when your milk comes in " can be painful and your nipples may be sore from the sucking. Nursing can also be fatiguing, and it takes a while for your milk to work in sync with the baby's needs - you may find that you are leaking milk between feedings. This is all normal. Do not be discouraged by people who say your milk is not good; it is the best food your baby can have."

Jaydon's flip flop captured by daddy

Daddy is lucky or should I say Jaydon listen to his daddy? Daddy placed him on sofa and ask him to flip for him. Indeed, this time round Jaydon managed to turn right in his daddy's eyes. All captured!!
